Merry and Cold

We are having a 24 hour freeze. It started last night at 10 degrees, and should end tonight (God Willing) with 18 degrees. Long underwear as my base layer, helps keep me toasty in our basement, which is where we spend 75% of the day, crafting and watching T.V. Oh yes, and the birds! The cardinals are so happy that Jeff filled the feeders before the cold snap hit.

I'm just getting the last of the Christmas cards mailed out this week. I sure hope they all get there in time. We've been enjoying visiting family, and it has taken a bit of time to get all the house un-decorated (Thanksgiving) and re-decorated (Christmas). AND get back to a normal routine.

I feel so good now that I can relax and just enjoy the holiday season. Jeff and I both came back from our trip with a cold, but we expect those to be gone soon. It certainly hasn't dimmed my appetite any for holiday goodies!

So today, after seeing our church's children's Christmas program, (tongue twister), I'm hoping that each of you are enjoying the love, peace, and joy that Jesus brings, and for all of us crafters to have good health and good connections with our friends, family and neighbors. I'm hoping you are able to slow down and enjoy the season fully.

Sending smiles to you from me and the two Connie's in my life. (My sister and our Aunt in Idaho) I'm doubly blessed by them!

Have a blessed week!
