Heat Be Gone!

Thank goodness it's a tiny bit cooler! Today is the first day in about 2 weeks that I was able to sit outside and enjoy the morning birdsongs. It won't be long though, and I'll be able to do that every day again. This has been a hot end-of-the-summer!

One of the things I've enjoyed the most working on while looking out at the blistering sun, has been some fabulous Christmas cards using the new stamp and die set, Frosted Pinecones. This set isn't available to the general public yet, but it will be soon.

When you get it, make sure you get the masks too. You will need them to make the pinecones look like they are frosted with snow. And it's only going to take you a few minutes to do.

Thinking about the wonderful aroma of pinecones right now, is not as good to me as imagining the temperature that we'd be feeling if those pinecones were actually covered with frost. And I don't think I'm alone with that thought right now, judging from the temps I'm seeing all over the U.S.!
