Teasing Sunshine

It's sunny and beautiful out there, but BRRR! It is so cold today! I was getting all ready to start thinking about the flowers I want to plant in the pots on our porch, but today made me realize that it's way too early to be thinking about that yet. So I got out the Wild Ferns stamp and die set, and went to work on some things that I've already seen poking out of the ground at the park.

If you are lucky enough to live where you see ferns growing wild, just a walk in the woods will show you all kinds of beautiful specimens to use as models for your cards. I have to go to the park to see them, as our yard is not ever going to be shady enough for ferns. And the ones we have at the park are not even quite as nice as the ones growing in the rain forest in the state we came from. But they'll do, for me. All ferns have the most wonderful foliage, especially when they are just opening up. Enjoy copying them with a variety of ink colors and this beautiful stamp set.

I paired the stamp sentiment with retired Hold On To Hope for a special wedding card for my son and fiancee.
