Mistake Magic

A couple of weeks ago in the middle of my Facebook Live, I realized the ink pen I was using was running out, and I didn't have enough to finish my project. It was terribly embarrassing, and I wasn't thrilled with the project I ended up with.

But once the video was done, I was determined to take my crummy birdhouse that was my big mistake, and turn it into something good. I stamped the little wood grain stamp all over it, and suddenly it started to look pretty good.

Then I made a 'grunge' look background with embossed Cajun Craze rubbed with White and Balmy Blue ink, and cut a fabulous DSP circle using the Spotlight on Nature die.

I have to admit I think this Country Birdhouse card has ended up as my favorite one.

Have you a crafting 'mistake' that turned out to be magic too? Let me know, i'd love to hear your story!
